Check your model first
Every generation of ÜLKA dust collector has its own filter housing. This filter fits the tabletop Premium 2.0 and the built-in Premium 2.0, and those only. It does not fit the first-generation Premium, the Aero, the Tornado, the Nano, the Tiny or the Handy, each of which has its own reference.
The model is printed on the label under the unit. If in doubt, write to us before ordering: we will confirm the reference.
Three signs it is time to replace it
- Dry cleaning is no longer enough: the medium stays grey, it is clogged deep down.
- Dust stays on the table while you file, with the unit running.
- Three months have passed since the last replacement.
A saturated filter cuts capture long before the motor shows any sign of weakness: the unit seems to run normally while it barely draws anything in.
Never water
Moisture spreads the fibres of the filtering medium apart. The filter then lets through the fine particles it was meant to hold, and it does not recover as it dries. A clogged filter is replaced, not washed.
Maintenance
- Take the filter out of the unit at the end of the day.
- Dust it dry, with a soft brush or an air blower, outside the cabin.
- Put it back and note the date: this daily habit doubles its lifespan.
Keep a spare in mind
- Keep one ahead: suction does not stop while you wait for delivery.
- One per station if your salon has several equipped tables.
- Two a year per unit at least, in sustained professional use.
